News Billings Engineer Receives ASHRAE Exceptional Service Award

SEATTLE— Rich Rose has received an Exceptional Service Award from ASHRAE at its 2014 Annual Conference held here June 28-July 2.
The Exceptional Service Award recognizes Distinguished Service Award recipients who have continued to serve the Society faithfully and with exemplary effort.
Rose is owner and CEO, Mechanical Technology, Billings, Mont. Rose believes that ASHRAE involvement builds leadership skills. Programs to increase membership and better serve existing members were developed during his time as chair of the Membership Promotion Committee. Rose has been involved with Technology Committees 7.7, Testing and Balancing, and 7.9, Building Commissioning, for years, and he recently served as Director and Regional chair of Region IX.
According to Rose: “I hope my contribution has benefited ASHRAE as much as ASHRAE has benefited me. The past 31 years have been great.”
